Oscar Olivarez Jr.

Oscar Olivarez (DJ Ozky) started DJing under the tutelage of his father at the age of 10. Since then he has grown to love music and dance. Oscar Olivarez has seen the clients of DTROCK music service dance since 2000. Oscar Olivarez has taken professional dance lessons in country, hip hop, and Latin dance. Oscar Olivarez has been choreographing dances for events since 2009. Oscar Olivarez started competing in country dancing with Lizbeth in 2017 and together have won many local competitions as well as made finals and placed in huge competitions. In 2019 Oscar Olivarez was the front man for a dance team in Brownsville that performed in front of a huge audience at the Houston Salsa Congress. Oscar Olivarez has been a professional musician since 2006. He has played with Tejano bands, Country bands, Latin bands, as well as church groups. Oscar Olivarez has received his bachelors in music education from UTRGV in 2020 and received his masers in music from University of Arkansas Monticello in 2021. Oscar Olivarez currently has five years of experience as a music educator.
